Role | Designer / Job Captain from Schematic through Construction
San Diego Unified hired domusstudio at the schematic phase to take on a whole site modernization of the elementary school located in National City. The project included site upgrades, minor renovation of four classroom building, major renovation of one building, and one new classroom and admin building. The new building acts as the single point of entry into the campus and connects to an existing adjacent classroom building. A modern face to the campus was imperative while keeping in mind the scale and color palette of the surrounding neighborhood.
